Dr. Adam Myer embarked on his academic journey at the State University of New York at Oneonta, NY, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2015 with a major in biology and a minor in biochemistry. Subsequently, he attended Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, where he obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree, along with a distinction in population health, in 2019. Upon completing his medical studies, Dr. Myer trained and became board-certified in internal medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he also served on the hospital quality improvement committee. Dr. Myer further honed his expertise by completing both a gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Dr. Myer is deeply committed to providing exceptional patient care through evidence-based medicine and increasing access to care. His special interests includes liver disease and colorectal cancer screening, as well as patient-centered outcomes. Dr. Myer is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board-eligible in both gastroenterology and transplant hepatology. Dr. Myer’s professionally affiliations include the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
